About Declutter With Delight

Hello! I'm Annie, a professional organiser based in Oxfordshire.

I specialise in creating calm from chaos for busy families - reducing your clutter to love your home again. I worked as a primary school teacher for many years, alongside work in the charity sector, but when I had my son four years ago I really felt that I'd lost part of my identity and didn't know where to turn.

As I saw the insane amounts of items that entered our home as our son grew, I quickly realised that my mental health and levels of overwhelm were directly linked to the levels of clutter in our home, and I started my organising journey. What started as a need to feel less overwhelmed developed into a joy and passion to transform a space and reduce chaos.

I realised I wanted to take this further and create a career out of it, so I started a training course with Dilly Carter, from the hit BBC show 'Sort Your Life Out'. This was an accredited course with a tonne of work experience, and I quickly realised that this was something I was really good at - what an empowering feeling! And so Declutter with Delight was born.
